Enriching Time

The Fun Never Ends: A Visit To Saparua Island.

The kids visited Fort of Duurstede in Saparua Island, Moluccass. It was Dutch's fort built when Dutch attacked Moluccass for its spices. They had a great time, took some pictures and demanded a quick swim near the fort. The history about the war also being told. The heat was unbelievable, yet the kids were smiling all the time. Fun fun fun!

"Papa ajaaaa...!!'

Hari ini anak-anak belajar berbelanja sendiri. Masing-masing diberi uang 10,000 rupiah dan boleh membeli apa yang mereka mau (sepanjang uangnya cukup :)) dan menghitung kembalian apakah sesuai dengan yang mereka belanjakan.

Ternyata ketiga-tiganya memilih dan memutuskan untuk membeli es krim Walls seharga 2000 rupiah, ahh senangnya mereka.. Sambil melompat-lompat kesenangan, mereka mendatangi kasir untuk membayar. Kami juga senyum-senyum menyaksikan anak-anak bisa belajar belanja sendiri. Kemudian, saat membayar mereka mengeluarkan uang yang kami beri, dan....meninggalkan kasir begitu saja. Spontan saya bertanya, 'Lho?? Anak-anak..kembaliannya bagaimana?' Dengan santai tiga-tiganya menjawab serempak, 'Papa ajaaaaa....!!' sambil asyik menikmati es krim yang langsung dibuka kemasannya. Begitulah anak-anak, kalau sudah ada es krim, apapun terlupakan. Wah, harus diulang nih pelajaran hari ini karena tidak mencapai sasaran :)

Inspired by Art Attack show I watched several years ago, I decide to get the kids making their own masks. With limited tools, these are the results. Well, they had a great time working on this. They really excited when it comes to art & craft subject. Meanwhile, Josh is busy googling on dinosaurs. It's his passion for now.
